Freedom of expression

Sometimes things fall from the sky, say a chunk of the ceiling. It is then your duty to utilize the situation to the fullest. For me, it was a rare opportunity to graffiti and paint on plaster. I have never had the chance to draw on a slab before but always wanted to. This was also one of the first few times I actually experimented with watercolor. Coloring is rare for me as its a medium I am unfamiliar with. But from this experience I realized how soothing it is to paint. It just flows with your emotion and quite forgiving to mistakes. I came to appreciate it. The message for the slab was something that's been deeply etched inside of me for a long time. And my hands readily drew it out when I wanted to express myself. This whole opportunity was significant in an overall point of view, because I am etching on it a message that resonates with me deeply but this slab is in flux and is always crumbling; it will disappear. It is as if I am celebrating the life on one single mayfly.
